ALL IN Athletics Announces Partnership with The Athlete Within (TAW) for ALL IN South & Southwest Teams

Deerfield, IL, 2/19/2018 - ALL IN Athletics, an adidas® sponsored and Jr. NBA Flagship Network basketball program, is pleased to announce that The Athlete Within (TAW) will partner with ALL IN to expand and enhance ALL IN South's boys' and girls' travel teams.

TAW is one of the largest basketball programs in the southwest suburbs. Over the past ten years, TAW has run more than 450 travel teams and has worked with over 5,000 boys and girls in its travel team and training programs. Beginning this spring, TAW will become exclusively a basketball training program and will no longer run travel teams. ALL IN Athletics will take over all travel team operations and responsibilities. All players in the south and southwest suburbs looking for a competitive and developmental travel basketball experience will have the opportunity to tryout and play for ALL IN South. Open tryouts for 2nd grade through 12th grade travel teams will be held each season (fall, winter, spring and summer) beginning this spring.

ALL IN Athletics is proud to complement their existing travel teams with the talented and dedicated players and coaches of TAW. Additionally, the TAW basketball training program will be enhanced by ALL IN's travel team expertise, operations, resources, brand recognition and adidas® sponsorship.

TAW founder Derek Molis states, "It is with great pleasure that I can officially announce TAW Basketball and ALL IN Athletics (AIA) have entered into a partnership, handing over all travel team responsibilities to AIA. AIA is the largest travel basketball program in the state of Illinois and one of the biggest in the country. Their network base, especially to college coaches, is far greater than any program in the area, if not the entire state of Illinois. AIA's ability to continuously work with and develop young kids and offering them opportunities to play at the next level are extraordinary. All one needs to do is take an educated look at their extensive alumni list, and you will quickly learn just how far their reach actually goes by the number of kids that have started on their journeys to college through the great game of basketball. By handing over all travel team responsibilities to AIA, this will undoubtedly give myself and TAW the time needed to revert back to our roots of Training, Training, and Training some more. To date, TAW has trained over 50 players that have gone on to play college basketball and 9 players that have gone on to play professional basketball around the world. This partnership will benefit all players choosing AIA & TAW for their travel basketball and training needs."

Billy Welcome, Co-Owner/CEO of ALL IN Athletics, states, "We are constantly striving to provide the best possible experience and resources for our student-athletes and their families. ALL IN Athletics is the largest travel basketball program in Illinois, and one of the biggest programs in the nation. Last year, ALL IN had 97 teams and over 950 players participate in the spring travel/AAU season. We have also had over 80 players commit to play at the collegiate level in the last two years alone. With the partnership with Derek Molis and the TAW program, we will be able to expand the reach of our travel program and help more student-athletes reach their athletic and academic goals, while still maintaining our core values and belief system."

Welcome continues, "While ALL IN aims to develop individual and team skills, we recognize the most important lessons we teach athletes stretch beyond the basketball court. Hard work, determination, and confidence are amongst the core values that go into everything we teach and train. TAW's beliefs are aligned with ours and we are excited to begin this relationship and aid even more student-athletes in the southwest suburbs and beyond in their quest for academic and athletic success."

Tryouts for the ALL IN South travel season will begin on February 23rd for girls and March 1st for boys. Additional information for the tryouts and the entire season can be found on the ALL IN Athletics website, aiathletics.com/southspringtravel
